Daisy’s Dream supports bereaved children and their families throughout Berkshire and the surrounding areas.
The death of a significant person in a child’s life can be devastating and difficult to understand.
We offer support and advice to families, professionals and anyone concerned about a grieving child.
Death is a normal part of life. But for a child the death of a close relation can be hard to understand. Adults may try to protect children from the fact of death, believing that they are too young to understand or that they will be too upset.
Yet we know that children can learn to cope with death when they are involved and given the appropriate opportunities to understand what has happened and to express their grief.

Can you help us to raise funds?.......
If you would like to take part in any of our fundraising events we would appreciate your support. Each year the organisation has to raise £200,000 to maintain and develop the service through events and community support.

Daisy`s Dream Charity Golf Day - Thursday 25th June 2009 at Sonning Golf Club.
18 hole stableford teams of four. Tee times from 1pm. Coffee & bacon roll on arrival & 2 course evening buffet. Trophy presentation and top team prizes.
£295 per team of 4. £160 per team if Sonning Golf Club members. £245 per team for mixed member/non member players.

The British 10k London Run - Sunday 12th July 2009
Take part in this fantastic fun run through the streets of London, soak up the atmosphere and enjoy the entertainment whilst raising funds through sponsorship for Daisy`s Dream. This is a great event and with the distance being only 6 miles very achievable!

Skydive Challenge - Saturday 11th July 2009
Join our intrepid team of skydivers to raise money for Daisy`s Dream! We have places booked for you on Saturday 11th July 2009 at Weston-on-the-Green, Oxford. You just need to raise a minimum of around £400 to take part for FREE!
