Whether you're a half marathon novice or an accomplished competitor, the Reading Half Marathon is worthy of a place in your calendar.
Starting in the stunning parkland of Green Park, this year the race will take you through the beautiful grounds of the University campus before you head through the crowd packed streets of Reading Town Centre. The final straight takes you into the magnificent Madejski Stadium where you'll experience a finish like no other.

Who can take part

Half Marathon participants will need to be aged 17 years or over on race day. There is no upper age limit for the race.

Costs and fundraising targets

Entry is purchased directly through the Reading Half Marathon website and costs from £47 (£45 for affiliated running club members) depending on the package you book and how early you book your place.

As places are booked directly with the event management company, there is no minimum fundraising commitment however, we hope that when joining our team you will pledge to raise as much as you can. All fundraisers who have raised at least £200 three weeks prior to race day will receive a free Daisy's Dream running vest!

We rely on community fundraisers like you to continue our valuable work with bereaved families across Berkshire, and so we'd like to support your fundraising as much as we can.

You can create a personalised JustGiving page, which is a great platform for encouraging people to donate. We also have lots of free fundraising tools available for you to download to help you raise as much money as you can for Daisy's Dream.
