As we embark on a new era at Daisy's Dream, as Gill Stevens retires, we're launching a summer appeal to raise funds for the next 12,570 local children who need our support - the number supported during Gill's 22 years at the charity.

"I have loved my time at Daisy’s Dream; it has been a real honour to lead the organisation and work with so many inspiring people coping with the most traumatic, difficult and challenging life events. We see real change in the lives of children and families during the course of our work. For some that can happen relatively quickly, for others it is a longer process, but to know that we have helped children and families ultimately to face the future in a positive way – something they perhaps thought would never be possible - has been a real privilege," says Gill of her time at Daisy's Dream. "We could not have supported these children and families without the support of the wonderful community we serve and for that we are so grateful, so a huge thank you to everyone I have met and worked with over an amazing 22 years."

This marks a new chapter for Daisy’s Dream and we cannot deny that it is also a time when the organisation faces significant challenges. In recent months the demand for our service has increased by 8%.

We are determined to meet that need with your help, so that we can look forward to supporting thousands more children in the next 22 years!
