In Memory

In memory of Brian Jones

Brian was very supportive of the work done by Daisy's Dream, stemming from the death of his older brother, Douglas, aged seven, when Brian was just five.

As was the custom of the time, Brian was told Douglas had gone away and, as a result, spent many years thinking he would come back. He believed that it was his fault that Douglas had wanted to go away because, like most siblings, they had had pillow fights and argued over their toys. It was a number of years before he realised Douglas was dead and it had a profound effect on him.
