We are looking to recruit two new Trustees to join the board as our newly incorporated charitable organisation enters a phase of consolidation, innovation and growth.

Why apply?

We are a small local charity with five Trustees and fifteen members of staff.  We are all committed to the future success of Daisy’s Dream.

The role of the Trustee, which is a voluntary role (not remunerated), is to ensure the financial viability of the charity, manage the risks and develop the strategy.  Trustees meet quarterly at our offices in Twyford from 6.30 – 8.30pm, with one additional annual meeting being held on a Saturday.  Papers are circulated prior to the meeting.

What are we looking for?

Daisy’s Dream is looking for Trustees from a range of backgrounds and are committed to a diverse and inclusive board.

New Trustees will join a high performing and hard-working board and will be keen to increase the profile of our stakeholders on the board.  Ideally they will have experience/a background in one of the following areas:

  • Social care or nursing
  • Education
  • Local commercial experience (business network)
  • An association with Daisy’s Dream

If you would like to join Daisy’s Dream as a Trustee, please send a short (one page) letter explaining your interest, together with your CV, to Gill Stevens at Daisy’s Dream by 28th February.

Applications can be submitted by email or by post:
