On 13 June, a small team of Vodafone employees walked, ran and cycled their socks off to raise money for Daisy's Dream.

Each team member set their own personal challenge, with distances ranging from 10 to 100 miles each, hoping to cover hundreds of miles of the beautiful Berkshire, Wiltshire, Hampshire and Oxfordshire countryside between them.

The team sailed past their fundraising target of £2,000, raising £2,909 in sponsorship at the last count. Vodafone, will also be matching the money they have raised, meaning that Daisy's Dream will benefit from a donation of close to £6,000. Three times their original target!

Michelle Ackroyd, the event organiser, said:

The weather made our challenge tough but, as a team, we covered over 630 miles. Despite the wind and the rain, the muddy shoes, damp bottoms and a few aches and pains, we did it!

Our challenge was all about demonstrating that by working together we can help each other through the tough times. By coaching and encouraging each other to keep going, we can help everyone overcome their challenges, no matter how big or small.

Huge thanks to everyone who took part!
