We’re thrilled to announce that Daisy’s Dream has been selected as the University of Reading’s Charity of the Year for the 2025/26 academic year! A heartfelt thank you to the University staff, who voted for us from a shortlist of five inspiring charities and chose to back our work supporting bereaved children, young people and their families across Berkshire.
This honour means so much to us, not just because we’re a local charity, but because it was University staff who chose us, making the decision especially meaningful. Their vote reflects trust in our commitment to offering tailored emotional and practical support through the most difficult times.
Over the summer, we’ll be collaborating closely with the University to co-design a programme of engagement for the coming year. From fundraising events and awareness campaigns to volunteering and community-driven activities, this partnership opens exciting new possibilities to amplify our impact.
Laura Lewis, our CEO, expressed how honoured we feel to be invited into this partnership: “We are thrilled to be working with the University of Reading as its Charity of the Year. Partnerships like this help highlight the work we do and develop our provision.”
