We’re so proud to share that Daisy’s Dream has been crowned Charity of the Year at this year’s 2025 Pride of Reading Awards.
This incredible recognition shines a light on the vital work we do: supporting children and young people who have been affected by the death or serious illness of someone close to them. Each year, we reach hundreds of children and their families across the Berkshire region, offering free, specialised bereavement support.
We caught up with Laura, CEO here at Daisy’s Dream and asked her what winning this award means:
It was an absolute honour to accept the Charity of the Year award on behalf of all the incredible staff and volunteers at Daisy’s Dream, both past and present. The work we do is so important, and it takes truly special people to carry it out with such care, compassion, and dedication. The Pride of Reading Awards are always a highlight of the local calendar and being recognised in this way means so much to all of us.
