Terry Murphy

Terry is an interim management consultant currently working with an NHS Trust dealing with strategic property and asset management and capital projects. He was a director of NHS Estates for a number of years and worked as a civil servant at the Department of Health. Terry has lived in Wokingham for more than 30 years and been actively involved in charity work and as a governor of a local school during this time.

Working in healthcare Terry is aware of the need for the pre and post bereavement services offered by Daisy’s Dream and how this plays such an important role in moving forward from traumatic events for young people. The need for this service and the work involved in ensuring Daisy’s Dream can provide the funding for these activities is stimulating and enjoyable work knowing how well these services are valued by the local community. It is a rewarding experience as a Trustee supporting the work of Daisy’s Dream and helping the charity to continue to grow its services in this vital area.
