How we help
Daisy’s Dream provides support for children and young people who have been affected by bereavement, either supporting them in preparing for a loss or working with them following the death of someone important to them.
Our team of practitioners enable children and young people to adapt to their changing situation by offering them the chance to access support and information which addresses their needs and concerns.
The support we offer will always be led by the needs of an individual but may comprise of one to one sessions, group support and telephone advice.
There is no charge for the services we provide to children and families.
Daisy’s Dream encourages children and young people to talk through their grief. Each situation and the way they feel will be unique but by meeting and talking with our team and other children, they can see that they aren’t alone.
“I found people who had gone through the same thing as me.”
“At school I’m known as the kid whose Mum has cancer. At Daisy’s Dream I’m just me.”
“It made me speak of some of my fears and made me more brave.”
