Latest News London Marathon Dream Team raise over £26,000! We are absolutely in awe of the ten incredible athletes who took on the London Marathon and Virtual London Marathon on Sunday 3rd October raising an absolutely outstanding collective total in excess of £26,000. The monies will go directly to supporting more than 50 children and families who have faced or are facing the death of someone they love and we are incredibly grateful for every mile covered and every penny donated, as are they. Like so many other events, this year's London Marathon was a little different, having been subjected to a number of cancellations and delays throughout various lockdown periods. This meant that some of our runners had waited over 18 months to actually run the race and had faced the prospect of reaching their fundraising targets at a time when face to face contact and fundraising events were just not possible. So hats off to you all and to all your supporters too - those who donated, those who helped with the training and those who cheered you on on the day. Our runners all had different personal reasons for wanting to support bereaved children and families, whether they ran in memory or celebration of a special person to them, have received support or know others who have, but whatever your connection with us, we are hugely grateful. So to Fiona, Josh, Josie, Keith, Mary, Millie, Poppy, Rosie, Rosie, Sarah, Thank you! You really are a Dream Team. Manage Cookie Preferences
