Daisy’s Dream would like to thank the trustees of the Louis Baylis Charitable Trust for their kind donation of £500.

“We are extremely grateful for the support with the kind donation from the Louis Baylis Trust.” commented Gill Stevens, Daisy’s Dream’s Director. “The £500 will provide much needed ongoing support for a family for a year. This includes telephone advice and support for a parent or carer and 1:1 individually tailored support for the children at home or school. In addition, we will be able to offer whole family sessions and attendance at group events, where appropriate. None of this would be possible without the fantastic support of our brilliant local communities.”

Linked to the Maidenhead Advertiser, The Louis Baylis Trust was set up in 1962 by Louis Baylis himself to safeguard the paper as 'an independent family concern free from all outside influence'. He also wanted to ensure, as he wrote at the time 'its continuance as part of the civic and social life of the community it serves'.
