The Downs School, Compton has raised over £1,000 by taking part in this year's Dress Down for Daisy's Dream day.

Students were asked to donate money in return for wearing their own clothes to school and the money they have raised will support two bereaved families for an entire year. The final total was a fantastic £1,130.

Headteacher Chris Prosser said: “Thanks to the generosity of our students and their parents, we are delighted to have raised money a significant amount of money for Daisy’s Dream. Their work is invaluable in helping supporting children affected by the bereavement or life threatening illness of a close relative and loved one, and I am delighted that as a school we can say we will have helped Daisy’s Dream support two families going through an unimaginable situation.”
