Our Story

Daisy’s Dream was set up in 1996 when a local mother identified the need for more localised, specialised bereavement support for children and young people.

Following the sudden death of her husband, Penny attended a residential weekend out of area which she described as ‘transformational’. This proved her inspiration for setting up the charity and she forged ahead to secure funding to make sure children in Berkshire could receive this essential support too.
