David Guile

Trustee

David has enjoyed over 30 years in the hospitality sector and now runs his own Leadership Coaching business as well as holding various Non Executive Director roles.

His involvement with Daisy Dream spans over 18 years having been a service user, trustee, Vice Chair and fundraiser.

David is delighted to have rejoined the Trustee Board in 2018 and looks forward to supporting the charity in the years ahead.

Porscha Davies

Trustee

Porscha’s background is in HR and, for the past 15 years, she has worked as an HR Consultant within a diverse range of industry sectors and global organisations. Porscha is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and splits her time between Berkshire and the Isle of Man.

Having been involved with Daisy’s Dream as a service volunteer since 2000, Porscha joined the Trustee Board in 2016. Porscha is honoured to be a Trustee and grateful for the opportunity to help support the great work Daisy’s Dream has achieved to date.

In her spare time Porscha works as an Outdoor Fitness Instructor.

Kate Green

Trustee

Kate is an experienced project and partnerships manager, with extensive experience in Further and Higher Education. She works at the University of Reading as a strategic projects manager.

Kate has lived in Reading for over 20 years and first became aware of Daisy’s Dream when her children were at primary school. Kate is very proud to be part of the committed team of staff, volunteers and trustees at Daisy’s Dream and to support the continued growth of such an important support service.

Laura Peters

Trustee

Laura works in education and is currently an Assistant Principal at a college just outside of Maidenhead. She has a background in Special Education Needs and worked in social care before moving into education in 2016.

From working in education and social care Laura is acutely aware of the need for organisations like Daisy’s Dream for young people and families to manage the most challenging times in their lives. Laura is delighted to be part of the Daisy’s Dream Team and hopes she can support them to continue to grow and reach as many families and young people as possible.

Sarah Bowsher

Trustee

Sarah is a Chartered Accountant and has worked in both the public and private sectors in finance, internal audit and sales. She is currently a trustee for both Reading Samaritans and WAY Widowed and Young.

Sarah first came across Daisy's Dream when her husband passed away in 2014, and both of her children had individual visits from Daisy's Dream practitioners as well as attending group events. In recent years Sarah has volunteered with Daisy's Dream at events and fundraising.

Joshua Picken

Trustee

Josh leads sales teams in cloud technology, helping businesses improve and grow through new technology solutions. He has worked in senior positions in both the UK and USA, bringing experience in planning, business growth, and building successful partnerships.

He is passionate about helping organisations sustain, grow, and achieve their financial goals, and is eager to use these skills to support Daisy's Dream's mission of helping bereaved children and families.

Sean Hatton

Sean Hatton

Trustee

Sean has worked in schools for over 15 years and currently serves as an Assistant Head and Safeguarding Lead at an all-through school in Reading.

 Throughout his career Sean has worked with Daisy's Dream when supporting young people and families through challenging times and is delighted to be able to support such a wonderful organisation with a worthwhile cause.

In his spare time, Sean also volunteers as a Judo instructor and can often be found throwing himself around the dojo for everyones' amusement!
