Regular Giving

Setting up a regular gift is really straightforward and is a brilliant way to support local bereaved children and families on an ongoing basis.

Every year we support over 800 children and the demand for our services continues to increase year on year. As do the costs of providing our support.

Making a regular donation is a totally flexible way of supporting our work. And it’s really simple to set up.

All you need to do is decide:

  • The amount you wish to donate
  • How regularly you would like to make your donation – monthly, quarterly or annually – you choose
  • How you would like the donation to reach us – you can set up your regular gift right here on the website or you can set up a standing order from your bank account to ours.
About Daisy's Dream
What Daisy's Dream do

Giving £10 a month for a year could pay for the resources and materials a Therapeutic Practitioner needs to support their case load of children for an entire year.

These resources are so helpful: sometimes it’s useful for a young person to keep a journal as part of their grief journey, or a younger child may make a memory book as a way of opening conversations and capturing memories.
Giving £25 a month for a year could pay for five 1:1 therapeutic sessions with a child.
This element of our service allows a child the time and space to understand what has happened and explore their grief over an extended timeframe.
Giving £50 a month for a year could pay for two children who are preparing for bereavement to access a monthly group.

This provides the opportunity for children to meet others living in similar circumstances and develop vital support networks.

There’s no minimum period. You can change the amount or frequency at any time or cancel it with no penalties or on-going commitments, if you wish.

The support we provide is tailored and delivered at no cost to the children and families who need it. It costs us in the region of £500,000 a year to provide our service using the experience and expertise of our professionally-trained Practitioners.

Providing a regular gift enables us to plan and deliver our support more effectively and efficiently and ensures that those children and young people are able to cope with the changing dynamics in their lives and ultimately move forward in a more positive way.
